This S & S high volume and high pressure (HVHP) oil pump was designed and used in all Super Sidewinder Plus 4-1/8 " internal diameter S & S. engines
The SSW + engines are equipped with piston cooling jets that spray oil in the Lower part of the pistons.
This pump was designed to supply enough oil for the jets and the rest of the engine.
Although the exterior is similar to the normal S & S pallet pumps, the interior is different. Among others, wider gears are used.
Features include: * New tooth profile in forward and return gears for higher volume * Forward gears 9% wider * Return gears 28% wider * Same thickness as original pumps. The original transmission axis is reused.
