Harley-Davidson compatibility

Compatible only with motorcycles equipped with a CV carburetor:

• Harley-Davidson Big Twin: 1990-2006.
• Harley-Davidson XL Sportster: 1988-2006.

The motorcycle must retain a compatible CV carburetor. Matching model and year does not guarantee installation if the original carburetor has been replaced by another intake system.

Installation

The support mounts on the top cover of the CV carburetor to hold the choke cable in an accessible position. Before ordering, check the type of carburetor installed and the configuration of the cold start cable.

During installation, make sure the cable moves freely and is not tight, bent, or in contact with hot engine components.
