"The shoe manufacturing method invented by Charles Goodyear Jr. in 1872 is still today the industrial procedure used by the first international manufacturers to offer the best quality level in their shoes.
This handcrafted process with the help of machines consists of two parts:
1.- The Goodyear seam joins the vamp to the welt and the insole.
A second seam (Welt) joins the welt to the sole.
The advantages that are achieved with this manufacturing are among others:
Comfort: The cavity created by the seam between the inner sole and the sole is filled with a flexible compound that adopts the shape of the foot when the shoe is worn.
Insulation: This flexible compound inserted between the sole and the insole provides effective thermal insulation and protects the foot from uneven terrain.
Flexibility: The construction with vira is highly adaptable to all types of footwear, uses and fashions.
Resistance: Due to the properties provided by vira, durability and comfort are combined".
