Simpson M62 Gloss Black Helmet
The Simpson M62 gloss black recaptures the essence of the racing helmets used in the 80s and adapts it to the demands of today’s rider. Inspired by models originally developed for the high speeds of IndyCar, it combines a clean, timeless silhouette with modern materials, advanced protection, and an interior designed for daily use.
Its smooth profile, rounded chin bar, and carefully designed aerodynamics help reduce wind resistance and promote stable airflow at speed. The gloss black finish enhances its classic lines and makes it an especially attractive option for café racer, sport, naked, and retro-styled bikes.

Competition-inspired design
The design of the Simpson M62 is based on helmets used by drivers like Al Unser Jr. and Tom Gloy during the 80s. Its outer shape maintains a classic aesthetic but incorporates modern solutions aimed at improving stability, comfort, and protection.
The rounded chin bar and optimized shell profile help reduce aerodynamic drag and maintain stable behavior as speed increases.
Lightweight tri-composite shell
This version is made with a tri-composite shell, chosen to offer a good balance between strength and weight. Simpson uses three shell sizes to better adapt the outer volume and avoid all sizes sharing a single oversized shell.
The interior features a multi-density EPS liner, developed to manage the energy produced during an impact.
Panoramic visor with Pinlock
The wide visor provides a generous field of vision and features optical correction to reduce distortion. Its locking mechanism helps keep it closed while riding.
The helmet includes a Pinlock Max Vision system, designed to reduce fogging in cold, rainy, or changing temperature conditions.
Removable and hypoallergenic interior
The interior padding is hypoallergenic and has an antimicrobial treatment. It can be fully removed and washed, making cleaning and maintenance easier after frequent use.
The large speaker pockets and internal cable routing allow communication systems to be installed without unnecessarily compromising the fit.
TwiceMe® NFC technology
TwiceMe® NFC technology allows emergency information to be stored and accessed via a compatible device. This feature can help emergency services access important data previously defined by the user.
Prepared for Eject® system
The Simpson M62 is prepared for use with the Eject® helmet extraction system and comes with quick-release cheek pads. These features are designed to facilitate intervention by emergency teams.
ECE 22.06 and DOT certification
The helmet has dual ECE 22.06 and DOT certification, according to the specifications indicated by Simpson. The ECE 22.06 certification corresponds to the current European standard for road use.
Choosing the size
Measure the circumference of your head with a measuring tape, approximately two centimeters above the eyebrows and passing through the widest part of the back of the head.
Check the official Simpson size chart before placing your order. The helmet should fit firmly and evenly, without shifting when you move your head and without causing excessive pressure points.
