MAXIMUM PROTECTION WITH SILICONE-BASED DOT 5 BRAKE FLUID
Maxima Racing Oils DOT 5 Silicone Brake Fluid is a high-performance purple-colored silicone-based brake and clutch fluid, designed to protect critical hydraulic components while delivering consistent braking power. Its anti-vapor lock formulation resists vaporization and viscosity breakdown, even under extreme heat.
Engineered with advanced chemistry, it resists corrosion, oxidation and boil-off. Safe for use on paint, plastics, and clothing. Since DOT 5 is not hygroscopic, it won’t absorb water—but the system must be 100% drained before use to prevent water pockets that can lead to vapor lock and brake failure.
Not compatible with ABS, ASR or TCS systems and must not be mixed with DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluids. Only mix with other DOT 5 silicone-based fluids.
