Organic Brake Pads for front and rear axles, ECE R90 approved. Designed for street riding with highly predictable braking and disc care.

Compatibility

Front: 1973 XL Sportster, FX; 1972–1984 FL. Rear: 1973–1980 FL; 1973–1983 FX.

Advantages (Organic)

  • Progressive feel and controllable.
  • Less noise and more disc-friendly due to material (aramid, etc.).
  • Affordable price; a highly reliable option for cruising.

Limitations

  • Less responsive in wet conditions; may glaze over if overheated.
  • Shorter lifespan compared to sintered pads; produce slightly more dust.

Installation and Break-In

  • Clean caliper, check pistons and guides; degrease discs.
  • Break-in with several gentle stops to stabilize the friction coefficient.
