Vance & Hines FPX Tune for Harley-Davidson J1850
Optimize the electronic management of your Harley-Davidson with the Vance & Hines FPX Tune, a recalibration system for fuel injection designed for motorcycles equipped with J1850 communication and a 4-pin diagnostic port. Using flash technology, it allows you to modify the fuel map stored in the ECU to adapt it to different intake, exhaust, and engine configurations.
Before making any modifications, the device saves a copy of the OEM fuel map. This way, the ECU can later be restored to its original factory settings. The FPX Tune app also allows access to maps developed by Vance & Hines, view sensor data, and record information while riding.

ECU recalibration using flash technology
The FPX Tune works on the fuel map stored in the motorcycle's original ECU. This allows for proper electronic recalibration for different configurations without permanently installing an intermediate fuel correction module.
The device previously saves the original OEM configuration, allowing the ECU to be returned to its factory state later.
Maps developed by Vance & Hines
The user can access a wide library of maps created for specific models and configurations. Vance & Hines develops these maps using real motorcycles and components at their dyno facilities in Santa Fe Springs, California.
The FPX Tune app also allows certain modifications to the available maps to adapt the configuration to the components installed on the motorcycle.
Performance Log and sensor data
The Performance Log function allows you to record data while riding and analyze it later. The user can select from three recording duration settings before starting the route.
The recorded data is displayed in an interactive graph that allows you to zoom in on specific areas, select specific points, and consult the available sensor values during the ride.
FPX Tune application
The app interface makes it easy to access the different system functions. From its navigation bar, you can access the main menu, live sensor data, system information, and support.
Harley-Davidson compatibility
Compatible with Harley-Davidson motorcycles from 2007 to 2013 equipped with J1850 system and 4-pin diagnostic port.
Not compatible with CAN-Bus models.
Before placing your order, check the year of the motorcycle and physically verify that it has a 4-pin diagnostic connector and J1850 system. Compatibility may depend on the specific model and the installed electronic configuration.
Important: linked to a single ECU
Once used on a motorcycle, the FPX Tune is linked to the OEM ECU of that unit. The same device cannot later be used to program another motorcycle.
The original stored map belongs to the ECU with which the FPX Tune has been paired and allows it to be restored later to its original factory configuration.
Usage recommendations
Before starting any programming process, make sure the battery is properly charged and avoid disconnecting the power during ECU writing.
Fuel map modification should be performed using a configuration suitable for the engine and components installed on the motorcycle.
