ECU recalibration via flash technology
The FPX Tune works directly on the map stored in the original ECU. This allows you to adapt fuel management to different exhaust, intake, and other component configurations without the need to keep an intermediate correction module installed.
Before modifying the programming, the system saves the original OEM configuration, which can later be used to return the ECU to its factory state.
Maps developed by Vance & Hines
The app offers access to a wide library of maps developed by Vance & Hines for specific models and configurations. These maps are created using real motorcycles and components at their dyno facilities in Santa Fe Springs, California.
The user can make additional adjustments using the customization options available in the FPX Tune app.
Performance Log and sensor data
The Performance Log function allows you to record information while riding and analyze it later. The user can select from three recording duration settings before starting the route.
The data is presented through interactive graphs that allow you to zoom in on specific areas, select specific points, and consult the available sensor values during the ride.
Deactivation of secondary O2 sensors
A specific feature of the FPX Tune is the possibility to deactivate the secondary rear O2 sensors located in certain mufflers or crossover systems without causing fault codes in the ECU.
This allows the use of certain mufflers or exhaust systems from previous versions or US specification that do not include a connection for that second rear O2 sensor.
Harley-Davidson compatibility
Compatible only with motorcycles equipped with MT22 ECU and 8-pin Molex connector within the following applications:
- Harley-Davidson Softail: 2021-2024.
- Harley-Davidson Touring: 2021-2025, except for the Gen 2 models listed below.
- Harley-Davidson Pan America Special RA1250S: 2021-2026.
Excluded Touring models
Not compatible with the following Gen 2 Touring with central cooling engine:
- FLTRXSE from 2023 to 2025.
- FLTRXSTSE from 2024 to 2025.
- FLTRX from 2024 to 2025.
- FLHXSE from 2023 to 2025.
- FLHX from 2024 to 2025.
- FLHXU from year 2025.
Before placing your order, check the exact model, year, ECU type, and the presence of the 8-pin Molex connector. Compatibility should not be determined solely by the year of manufacture.
Important: the FPX Tune is linked to a single ECU
Once used on a motorcycle, the FPX Tune is permanently paired with the OEM ECU of that unit. The same device cannot later be used to program another motorcycle.
The stored OEM map corresponds only to the ECU with which the device has been linked and allows it to be restored later to its original configuration.
Usage recommendations
Before starting any programming process, make sure the battery is properly charged and avoid interrupting the power supply while writing to the ECU.
The modification of fuel maps should be carried out using a configuration suitable for the engine, exhaust, intake, and other components installed on the motorcycle.
